Culture in the Community

In an age of globalization, cultural sensitivity and understanding is vital for achieving peaceful solutions.  CENET's newest initiative is to foster "Culture in the Community" with a variety of new programs provided for the local community.

• Culture in the Classroom - schedule an international guest for your classroom or club (e.g., world sports modules, world cooking demos, international crafts).  Tailored programs for grades K-12.

• G.O.A.L.S.  Camp:  Global Outlook and Local Soccer - allow your child to experience a journey around the world in this summer camp providing soccer training and global education.  Boys and girls entering grades 2-8.
• Global Leadership Symposium - learn about international topics and world events while enhancing your global leadership skills.  High school.
• International Dinner - mingle with international university students, local students, and community members over delicious international cuisine.
